I'm Not a Turkey!

     My second graders enjoyed this little homework assignment just in time for Thanksgiving.  (Thank you Mrs. Linda Johnson for sharing this idea with us!)  Students had to disguise their turkey as different characters so that Mr. Turkey wouldn't be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner.  Boy did we have some creative thinkers in this class!  Elvis even showed up with his blue suede shoes.  Stop by our classroom soon to read our great writing about our turkeys too!
